The Imperial Foundation aims to work in partnership with the very best non-profit organizations in Russia and abroad, those providing the most effective and efficient assistance to the most needy and disadvantaged in all corners of the country.
Every four years we will choose a number of charity partners who meet the highest standards of transparency and accountability, organisations with boards of trustees and executive leadership who value measurable impact and good governance as important priorities.
These charity partners will already be working in key areas of interest to the Imperial Foundation, including young people, education, health and well-being, arts and culture, medical science (with a special focus on oncology), and seniors.
The Foundation is planning a series of fundraising events in 2019 in London, New York, Monaco and Palm Beach to highlight the work of our charity partners in Russia. Later in 2019, HIH Grand Duke George will co-host in the first “Faith and Philanthropy” Summit in St. Petersburg, where non-profit organizations from Russia and the world will gather to discuss the impact of Philanthropy upon a range of critical issues, including health care, education, science, culture, and ways to support and provide opportunity for Russia’s young people.
As well as promoting the great patrimony of Russia globally, the Foundation exists to build bridges between Russia and the rest of the world, exploring our shared goals, promoting dialogue and establishing partnerships.
